Description data cabinets are used for fire protected storage of information carriers of every description. There is a distinction between cabinets for storage of data carriers made of paper (folders, hanging folders, files, etc), cabinets for magnetic media (magnetic tapes, magnetic disks, etc.) and films as well as storage cabinets backup tapes, floppy disks, CDs, DVDs or other particularly sensitive memory media whose conservation value is oriented to the formerly widely-used disks.
